Welcome to the first event in the new 100 km Populaire series. This is NOT the traditional Pacific Populaire, although the route is similar. This is a club ride, members only. Join at https://database.randonneurs.bc.ca/registration/. The annual membership fee is $10.

Club populaires will be run very similarly to 200 km and up brevets. Registration is online via the schedule, you will download the GPS file of your choice (if desired) and the route sheet from the event page, and control cards will be emailed to you when your registration is verified. There will be minimum support in keeping with the Randonneuring philosophy of self-sufficiency.

Ride fee is $10, payable online when you register.

Very important new rule for 2025: You MUST carry a mini first aid kit. No kit, no ride.

If you have ridden the Pacific Populaire in the past, you will recognize much of the route. Tweaks include a new start and finish location at Breka Bakery, 29th and Main, in Vancouver, and the Richmond loop in opposite direction (anti-clockwise) with an detour to Bridgeport Trail and Shell Road to avoid traffic congestion near the Costco on Bridgeport.

There may be revisions following the pre-ride, so please check back the day before the ride.

Entries will be capped at 100 and registration closed if that number is approached. Click the "Who's Registered" button on the event page to get an idea of how many spots are still available.

Update#1: Route Sheet is available. Note, it is subject to change after the pre-ride. Please check back the day before the ride.

Update#2: The pre-ride was carried out on a cool and sunny day. The event day weather will be even nicer. Note, there're couple modifications to the route. 1st, we'll go up Sidaway instead of No.6 Rd after Richmond Country Farms. 2nd, on Camosun near UBC, we'll turn right onto 29th, NOT 27th. The RideWithGPS and Route Sheet are updated.
